Digital Watches

A digital watch is a type of watch that bases its operation on a digital time base to generate the required frequency pulses (usually 1 Hz). A digital watch, like LED display watches, is a watch on the base of the digital frequency division and time.

The invention in 1956, the digital watch was a great revolution in the field of watch manufacturing because it got much cheaper and more accurate than mechanical watches operation.

To represent time, many digital watches use the seven LED, VFD or LCD segments to form each of the numbers, for example, the dual time digital watch. These watches also include other elements, to indicate whether the time is AM or PM in the afternoon tomorrow, and if the alarm is on. Digital watches can be much smaller, useful and inexpensive.
