Flip
the face of the quartz watch in the palm of your hand. Wedge a knife from watch
fixing kit between the box and back cover with a look at downward
pressure and push down. The case is opened and the internal clock is exposed.
If your watch has a box of screws, cover the box with a bottle opener rubber
grip. With the palm of your hand, turn the cause to the left until it
disengages from the box.
Use
tongs to ward off the locking bar that keeps the battery in its holder. Some
still may have a small screw from watch
repair tool kits to secure the bar. Loosen but do not remove, push the
bar aside. The battery is a small round silver disc placed between two metal
parts that hold elliptical. Take the battery using tweezers and remove the
bracket. Do not touch the inside of the box with your fingers. body oils can
contaminate electronic components.
Connect
the clip to a voltage meter to determine if the battery has a charge. The
battery in the car
necklace watch is charged when the needle is in the green zone. If the
battery is charged and the clock is not running, an essential component of
electronics is not working properly and requires repair expert. The battery is
weak and must be replaced if it is in the yellow zone. The battery is dead and
must be replaced if the needle is in the red zone. Some meters have a numeric
digital display with a graph to interpret the numbers on the back. See garages
have a battery meter.
Use a
lens brush, which can be squeezed to force air from the flask, slowly away to
remove dust and dirt of the internal mechanism globe. Do not use the wind to
blow dust. Moisture from breathing can cause corrosion or affect the
components.
Replace
the battery if it is dead. Using tongs, place the new battery in the holder.
Return the locking bar at the top of the battery to hold it in position. Use a
screwdriver to set the bar in the position, if necessary. Remove the old rubber
seal in the case and replace it with a new one.
Snap
the cause with the thumb and index finger or screw clockwise until it is in
hand.
