
Place the watch on your wrist so that the number six on the line closest to the thumb. This step ensures that the watch is oriented in the right direction and that you will be able to read the mechanical watch easily once it is connected.

Set the watch. For a strap style that fits the wrist, insert one end of the strap through the buckle and insert the catch pin into a hole, such as putting on the waistband, so you feel comfortable at the wrist.
